Hainan literal meaning: “South of the Sea”) is the smallest province of the People’s Republic of China .

As Hainan Island is not heavily industrialised, its greenery, together with its beautiful beaches and clean air, make it a popular tourist attraction. The island is accessible through ferry links with Guangdong province, as well as air links. There are two airports, Meilan Airport in Haikou, and Phoenix Airport in Sanya..

Enclose is just some of the breath taking views of Hainan Island.

There will be more picture loading soon with the introduction of Hainan Foods with picture. Stay Tune as this is the first attempted to load picture on blog.

Short story: To Be A Millionaire (From Email)

Posted in Uncategorized on June 20, 2009 by randomsay

TO BE A MILLIONAIRE

A jobless man applied for the position of “office boy” at Microsoft. The  HR manager interviewed him then watched him cleaning the floor as a test. “You are employed.”

He said.” Give me your e-mail address and I’ll send you the application to fill in, as well as date when you may start.”

The man replied “But I don’t have a computer, neither an email.”
I’m sorry”, said the HR manager, “If you don’t have an email, that means you do not exist. And who doesn’t exist, cannot have the job.”

The man left with no hope at all. He didn’t know what to do, with only $10 in his pocket. He then decided to go to the supermarket and buy a 10Kg tomato crate.

He then sold the tomatoes in a door to door round. In less than two hours, he succeeded to double his capital. He repeated the Operation three times, and returned home with $60. The man realized that he can survive by this
Way, and started to go everyday earlier, and return late Thus, his money doubled or tripled every day. Shortly, he bought a cart, then a truck, then he had his own fleet of delivery vehicles.

5 years later, the man is one of the biggest food retailers in the US . He started to plan his family’s future, and decided to have a life insurance.

He called an insurance broker, and chose a protection plan. When the conversation was concluded, the broker asked him his email. The man replied, “I don’t have an email”. The broker answered curiously, “You don’t have an email, and yet have succeeded to build an empire. Can you imagine what you could have been if you had an email?!!”

The man thought for a while and replied, “Yes, I’d be an office boy at Microsoft!”

Moral of the story:

M1 – Internet is not the solution to your life.
M2 – If you don’t have internet, and work hard, you can be a millionaire.
M3 – If you received this message by email, you are closer to being an office boy,
      than a millionaire……….

Have a great day!!!

Pls Note: – Do not forward this email to me back, I’m closing all my email addresses & going to sell tomatoes!!!

Smiling after reading is not mandatory!

THE MANAGEMENT

Signs Of Social Decay ???

Posted in Uncategorized on June 15, 2009 by randomsay

According to today’s regulators and bureaucrats, those of us who were
kids in the 60’s, 70’s and early 80’s probably shouldn’t have survived,
because our baby cots were covered with brightly coloured lead-based
paint which was promptly chewed and licked.

We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, or latches on doors or
cabinets and it was fine to play with pans

When we rode our bikes, we wore no helmets, just flip-flops and
fluorescent  “spokey dokey’s” on our wheels.

As children, we would ride in cars with no seat belts or airbags and
riding in the passenger seat was a treat.

We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle and it tasted
the same.

We ate chips, bread and butter pudding and drank fizzy juice with sugar
in it, but we were never overweight because we were always outside
playing.

We shared one drink with four friends, from one bottle or can and no-one
actually died from this.

We would spend hours building go-carts out of scraps and then went top
speed down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running
into stinging nettles a few times, we learned to solve the problem.

We would leave home in the morning and could play all day, as long as we
were back before it got dark. No one was able to reach us and no one
minded.

We did not have Play stations or X-Boxes, no video games at all. No 99
channels on TV, no videotape movies, no surround sound, no mobile phones,
no personal computers, no DVDs, no Internet chat rooms.

We had friends – we went outside and found them. We played elastics and
rounders, and sometimes that ball really hurt!&n bsp; We fell out of
trees, got cut, and broke bones but there were no law suits. We had full
on fist fights but no prosecution followed from other  parents.

We played knock-the-door-run-away and were actually afraid of the owners
catching us. We walked to friends’ homes.

We also, believe it or not, WALKED to school; we didn’t rely on mummy or
daddy to drive us to school, which was just round the corner.

We made up games with sticks and tennis balls. We rode bikes in packs of
7 and wore our coats by only the hood. The idea of a parent bailing us
out if we broke a law was unheard of…they actually sided with the law.

This generation has produced some of the best risk-takers and problem
solvers and inventors, ever. The past 50 years have been an explosion of
innovation and new ideas.

We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how
to deal with it all. And you’re one of them. Congratulations!

Pass this on to others who have had the luck to grow as real kids, before
lawyers and government regulated our lives, for our own good. For those
of you who aren’t old enough, thought you might like to read about us.

This my friends, is surprisingly frightening……and it might put a
smile on your face:

The majority of students in universities today were born in
1986……..they are called youth.

They have never heard of We are the World, We are the children and the Uptown Girl they know is by Westlife not Billy Joel.

They have never heard of Rick Astley, Bananarama, Nena Cherry or Belinda Carlisle.

For them, there has always been only one Germany and one Vietnam .

AIDS has existed since they were born.

CD’s have existed since they were born.

Michael Jackson has always been white.

To them John Travolta has always been round in shape and they can’t
imagine how this fat guy could be a god of dance.

They believe that Charlie’s Angels and Mission Impossible are films from
last year.

They can never imagine life before computers.

They’ll never have pretended to be the A-Team, the Dukes of Hazard or the
Famous Five

They can’t believe a black and white television ever existed. And they
will never understand how we could leave the house without a mobile
phone. Now let’s check if we’re getting old…

1. You understand what was written above and you smile.
2. You need to sleep more, usually until the afternoon, after a night
out.
3. Your friends are getting married/already married.
4. You are always surprised to see small children playing comfortably
with computers.
5. When you see children with mobile phones, you shake your head.

THE Doctor’s Advice

Posted in Uncategorized on June 15, 2009 by randomsay

Q: Doctor,  I’ve heard that  cardiovascular exercise can prolong life. Is this true?
A: Your  heart is only good for so many  beats, and that’s it…  don’t waste them on exercise.
Everything wears out  eventually.  Speeding up your heart will not make you live longer;  that’s like saying you can extend  the life of your car by driving it faster.
Want to live longer?  Take a  nap.

Q: Should  I cut  down on meat and  eat more fruits and  vegetables?
A: You  must grasp  logistical efficiencies.  What does a cow eat?   Hay and corn.
And what are these?  Vegetables.  So a steak  is nothing more  than an efficient  mechanism of  delivering vegetables to your  system.   Need grain?   Eat  chicken.   Beef is also a good source  of field grass  (green leafy vegetable).   And a pork chop can  give you  100% of your recommended daily allowance of  vegetable  products.

Q: Should  I reduce my  alcohol intake?
A:  No,  not at all.  Wine is made from fruit.  Brandy is distilled wine, that means they take the water out of  the fruity bit so you  get even more of the goodness that  way.   Beer is also made out  of grain.  Bottoms   up!

Q: How can I calculate my body/fat   ratio?
A: Well, if you have a body and you have  fat, your ratio is one  to one.
If you have two bodies, your ratio is two to  one, etc.

Q: What  are some of  the advantages of participating in a regular  exercise  program?
A: Can’t think of a single one, sorry.  My philosophy is: No  Pain…Good!

Q:  Aren’t fried  foods bad for you?
A:  YOU’RE NOT LISTENING!!! …..  Foods are fried these days in vegetable oil.  In fact, they’re permeated in it.  How could getting more vegetables be bad for  you?

QWill sit-ups  help prevent me from getting a little soft  around  the middle?
A: Definitely not!  When you exercise a muscle, it gets bigger.
You should only be  doing sit-ups if you want a bigger   stomach.

Q:  Is   chocolate bad for me?
A:  Are you crazy?  HELLO   Cocoa  beans ! Another vegetable!!!  It’s the best feel-good   food around!

Q:  Is swimming good for your figure?
A:  If   swimming is good for your figure then explain whales to me.

Q:  Is getting in-shape important for my   lifestyle?
A:  Hey!  ‘Round’ is a shape!

Well,   I hope this has cleared up any misconceptions you may  have had about  food  and diets.

And  remember:

‘Life should  NOT  be a journey to the grave with the intention
of  arriving  safely in an attractive and well preserved  body,
but rather  to skid in sideways –
Chardonnay in one  hand – chocolate in  the other –

body thoroughly used up,  totally worn out and
screaming ‘WOO  HOO, What a  Ride’

AND…..

For those of you who watch what you eat, here’s the final word on nutrition and health.
It’s a relief to know the truth after all those conflicting nutritional studies.

1. The Japanese  eat  very little fat
and suffer  fewer heart attacks than  Americans.

2. The Mexicans eat a lot of fat
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

3. The Chinese drink very little red wine
and  suffer fewer heart attacks than  Americans.

4. The Italians drink a lot of red wine
and suffer fewer heart attacks than Americans.

5. The Germans drink a lot of beers and eat lots of  sausages and fats
and suffer fewer heart attacks than   Americans.

CONCLUSION

Eat and drink what you like.
Speaking English is apparently what kills  you.

‘Today is a gift, that is why it is called   The Present.’

Vitamin C

Dear All

Whether this is true or not, it’s better to take precautions!

Taiwan, a woman suddenly died unexpectedly with signs of bleeding from her ears, nose, mounth & eyes. After a preliminary autopsy it was diagnosed death due to arsenic poisoning death. Where did the arsenic come from?

The police launched an in-depth and extensive investigation. A medical school professor was invited to come to solve the case.

The professor carefully looked at the contents from the deceased’s stomach, in less than half an hour, the mystery was solved. The professor said: ‘The deceased did not commit suicide and neither was she murdered, she died of accidental death due to ignorance!’

Everyone was puzzled, why accidental death? The arsenic is of the U.S. military for carrying rice seedlings H Gao.  The professor said: ‘The arsenic is produced in the stomach of the deceased.’ The deceased used to take ‘Vitamin C’ everyday, which in itself is not a problem. The problem was that she ate a large portion of shrimp/prawn during dinner. Eating shrimp/prawn is not the problem that’s why nothing happened to her family ever though they took the same shrimp/prawn. However at the same time the deceased also took ‘vitamin C’, that is where the problem is!

Researchers at the University of Chicago in the United States , found through experiments, food such as soft-shell shrimp/prawn contains a much higher concentration of – five potassium arsenic compounds.

Such fresh food by itself has no toxic effects on the human body! However, in taking ‘vitamin C’, due to the chemical reaction, the original non-toxic – five potassium arsenic (As anhydride, also known as arsenic oxide, the chemical formula for As205) changed to a three potassium toxic arsenic (ADB arsenic anhydride), also known as arsenic trioxide, a chemical formula (As203), which is commonly known as arsenic to the public!

Arsenic poisoning have magma role and can cause paralysis to the small blood vessels, “mercapto Jimei”??, inhibits the activity of the liver and fat necrosis change Hepatic Lobules Centre, heart, liver, kidney, intestine congestion, epithelial cell necrosis, telangiectasia. Therefore, a person who dies of arsenic poisoning will shows signs of bleeding from the ears, nose, mouth & eyes.

Therefore; as a precautionary measure,

DO NOT not take shrimp/prawn when taking ‘vitamin C’.

COCKTAIL

Posted in Uncategorized on March 23, 2009 by randomsay

Sometime relationship can best be described as “your favourite cocktail‘s”.

After a long and hard day at work, where all you want is to put your feet up and relax with a glass chill drink to suppress the pressure of a day work.

A cocktail is like the mixes of right ingredients well, correct measurement you will have your very own special drink that perfect to you.

Strangely, even thought sometime with the right ingredients mixture for a glass of cocktails will taste different when made by different people.  Could this be perhaps it not made from love.  Hence, we feel very differently. Or could this be because the original of the ingredients is not the same. Perhaps even the once “one and only is no longer the one”. Sadly, the cause of it can be all of it above.

Here is -one of Miss LV own special recipe of cocktails.

Long Island Tea

30 ml                         Vodka

15ml                          Gin

15ml                          Triple sec

15ml                          Cointreau

15ml                          Coca-cola

05ml                          Orange juice

Note: Most Long Island Tea will have Run & Tequila but for personal reason this will be not required.

Method: Fill the shaken with ice cubes and add all alcohols for this drink.

Try to freezing lychee fruits into cube size ice for more fruity taste and start shaken.  Then mix them with coca-cola (please do not shake them together).

Pour them into a tall glass and add a dash of orange juice. Cheers!

There is more recipe to come but for now Enjoy!

Random Say’s with Random thoughts

Posted in Uncategorized on March 22, 2009 by randomsay

This blog is created by a group of friends who express thoughts and views toward the changing world.

The concept for this blog is to create an open discussion forum on any thoughts in any topic from all walks of life that intrigues on daily life, like group of friends having coffee and tea on leisure Sunday afternoon. Chatting and gossiping on today’s news. Having a valuable input of opinions or just have a say.  Hence, the name “Random Say’s” was entitled.

The authors of this blog believe having a say is to share any thoughts that leads to open discussion and explore further understanding of what I becoming of this world.

To be honestly, the first topic to post on this blog is hard.  Although, the question of what would be the up and coming topic been asked today many times over the weekend and few ideas been given but to put and an idea in written form really come to mental block.

Not as easy as few friends sitting in corner of luxury café, sipping coffee and tea and chatting then go home and rest  for the coming hectic week ahead. Many brain cells have dies just this weekend so with whatever brain cells leave, it need some R & R now. Ciao for now.
